Benkei the warrior priest is on a quest to gain 1000 samurai swords but, for the final sword, meets his match against Ushikawa Minamoto on Kyoto’s Gojo Bridge.

Notes: It is based on the legendary encounter between Saitō Musashibō Benkei, who was collecting swords for the Buddha, and Minamoto no Yoshitsune, who was called Ushiwaka in his youth.
